CM to visit Sri Chamkaur Sahib, to take stock of paddy procurement arrangements
Mohali News: Paddy procurement has started in Punjab from October 1. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will reach Sri Chamkaur Sahib today to take stock of the arrangements in Mandi.
At noon, the Chief Minister will visit the grain market of Shri Chamkaur and start the procurement of paddy. CM Mann will take stock of the arrangements for paddy procurement.
The procurement has started from October 1 and the government is making every effort to ensure smooth procurement of paddy and not let farmers face any difficulty.
The Punjab Mandi Board has notified 1,854 procurement centres for paddy procurement.
