Ex-CM Charanjit Singh Channi summoned for probe by Vigilance

Chandigarh: Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has been booked by the Vigilance Bureau in a disproportionate assets case.

   According to media reports, the Bureau has issued a notice to him. The Vigilance has summoned former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for questioning today.
    The vigilance is probing a disproportionate assets case against Channi. A lookout notice has already been issued against Channi. This is the first time channi has been summoned by the vigilance.
    According to media reports, the vigilance has also prepared a complete strategy for interrogation. Details of his property have also been sought.
The Vigilance has not yet registered any case against Channi.
    Vigilance had launched an investigation against him. Earlier, Channi had fled abroad after losing from his both seats in Vidhan Sabha elections.
