Kamaljit Singh Karwal, who contested the election against Simarjeet Singh Bains from Atma Nagar in Ludhiana, has resigned. Kadwal also resigned from the primary membership of the Congress. The reason for resigning was said to be unhappy with the working of the party leadership.
