Major portion of parking lot of a building collapses in Mohali, several vehicles damaged
Mohali News: A major portion of the parking lot of a building in Mohali Sector 83 suddenly collapsed.
The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon. The good thing is that no casualties have been reported in this incident, but some cars parked in the parking lot have been damaged.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.Police said that action will be taken as per law.
CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced, showing how the ground suddenly collapsed and the car fell into the pit. It is being told that the work of digging the basement was going on in the plot adjacent to the parking lot of the building in which the accident took place.
The police have registered a case against the owner of the plot where the basement excavation work was going on.
