Now join free Yoga classes by giving miss call on toll free number 7669400500 in Punjab

Jalandhar News: The Punjab government is offering free yoga classes to citizens through its CM’s Yogashala initiative. To participate, people can simply give a missed call to the toll-free number 7669400500 or visit the CM’s Yogashala portal at cmdiyogshala.punjab.gov.in.
A spokesperson said that if anyone encounters difficulty during registration, they can seek assistance through the state government’s helpline at 1100 or by sending an email to [email protected].
The primary goal of the CM’s Yogashala initiative is to enhance the physical and mental well-being of the state’s residents by making yoga accessible in the comfort of their homes.
Launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the program started in April this year, with the first phase covering cities like Amritsar, Ludhiana, Phagwara, and Patiala.
The second phase expanded to Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Sangrur, and Bathinda in June 2023. Now, in the third phase, the program is set to extend to 15 more cities in Punjab, including Barnala, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, Mansa, Moga, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Pathankot, Rupnagar, Nawanshahr, Tarn Taran, and Malerkotla, starting from October 5, 2023.
These phases collectively aim to cover all major cities and headquarters in the Punjab State.
Through CM’s Yogashala, people have the flexibility to attend free yoga classes at their preferred locations, such as parks or public spaces. Additionally, if an individual can gather a group of at least 25 people and has available space, the Punjab Government will arrange for a yoga training instructor to conduct sessions at their location.
