Punjab CM to visit Mohali to review doorstep scheme today

Chandigarh: The Punjab government is set to launch the ” AAP Di Sarkar Apke Dwar” scheme across all 23 districts. Ministers and MLAs will assume responsibility in the sub-divisions of each district, engaging with people to address their concerns.

This initiative aims to provide 45 services, eliminating the need for people to visit service centers. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is expected to visit the campus during the launch.

The Chief Minister had announced this scheme in December 2023, and meticulous planning has been undertaken to bring it to fruition. Ministers and MLAs have been directed to stay in their respective wards on this day to actively listen to the public’s issues. SDMs and officials from the goods department will oversee the sub-divisions.

Nodal officers, including SDMs, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Block Officers, and Panchayat Secretaries, will play crucial roles in rural areas.
