New Delhi: The price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) has been increased by 7.5 percent, while the cost of a commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 58.50 per cylinder.
According to state-owned fuel retailers, ATF prices have been raised by Rs 6,217.5 per kilolitre after three consecutive cuts in jet fuel rates.
With this hike, the price of jet fuel in the national capital has reached Rs 89,344.05 per kilolitre.
Earlier, ATF prices were reduced by Rs 2,414.25 per kilolitre on June 1, Rs 3,954.38 on May 1, and Rs 5,870.54 per kilolitre on April 1. Airlines have not yet commented on the impact of the latest increase in jet fuel prices.
