Chandigarh: The Punjab government has extended holidays in all educational institutions till September 7 as flood conditions continue to affect large parts of the state.
Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that, on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, all government, aided, recognized, private schools, colleges, universities and polytechnic colleges in Punjab will remain closed until September 7, 2025.
He added that the decision was taken keeping in view the safety of students and staff as the state remains engulfed in floods.
