Jalandhar News (Pawan Dhuapr): To pay solemn tribute to the valiant martyrs of the Jalandhar Police who laid down their lives in the line of duty, a commemorative event was organised at Police Lines, Jalandhar, on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day.
The event began with the observance of a two-minute silence in remembrance of the valiant officers who sacrificed their lives in the service of the Punjab Police and for the safety and security of the public.
Family members of the martyrs shared heartfelt memories of their loved ones and spoke about their enduring pride and emotional connection with the Punjab Police. During the event, the families also shared their concerns and challenges. As a mark of respect and gratitude, Jalandhar Commissionerate Police presented mementos and gifts to the families and extended warm greetings on the occasion of Diwali. The event concluded with a community lunch, symbolising unity, remembrance, and the collective commitment to uphold the legacy of the fallen heroes.
