Chandigarh: A case has been registered in Ludhiana against Haryana resident Navdeep Singh Jalbera for allegedly making controversial remarks against the Brahmin community during recent protests at Panjab University Chandigarh over demands for syndicate elections. The video of his remarks has been circulating widely on social media.
Brahmin Social Welfare Board chairman Pankaj Sharda along with Rajiv Sharma, Pali Sehajpal and Pandit Rajan Sharma filed a complaint with the Ludhiana Police. The case has been registered at Police Station Division No. 2. Sharda thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for the action taken.
