Women Entrepreneur Felicitation Program: MP Meet Hayer Honours 100 Women Entrepreneurs in Barnala

Mann Government Taking Commendable Steps for Women Empowerment: Meet Hayer

Barnala News: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is not only taking important decisions for the welfare of women, but is also honouring women entrepreneurs to give them the recognition they deserve.

This was stated by Lok Sabha Member Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer while addressing the gathering during the “Women Entrepreneur Felicitation Program” (Mahila Udhami Samman Program) organized here today at Barnala Club under the theme “Apna Karobar, Apni Pehchaan.”

On this occasion, Hayer informed that under this program, women entrepreneurs were first honoured at the constituency level. After this, they are being honoured at the district level as well. The final phase of the program will take place at a state-level event later this month, where the top 100 women entrepreneurs from across Punjab will be honoured by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Each of these women will receive a cash prize of ₹25,000 in recognition of their entrepreneurial achievements.

Today, he honoured 100 women entrepreneurs from district Barnala during the event. On this occasion, he said that the Mann Government’s ‘Women Entrepreneur Felicitation Program’ is receiving an overwhelming response from women across the state. This initiative reflects the Punjab Government’s commitment to encouraging women empowerment and supporting women who have established their identity through entrepreneurship. He said that through their enterprise and hard work, these women are not only strengthening the economic condition of their families but are also becoming a source of inspiration for society.

On this occasion, Chairman Nagar Sudhar Trust Shri Ram Tirath Manna, S. Harinder Singh Dhaliwal, Madam Smriti Kaushal, women leader Nisha Sharma, Sukhwinder Kaur Sukhi Sanghera, Jaswant Kaur Gill, Ravinder Kaur Sidhu, Laxmi Rani (Constituency Coordinator) and the staff of the Punjab State Rural Livelihood Mission were present.
