Chandigarh: The Haryana government on Thursday carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 21 IAS and 42 HCS officers with immediate effect.
Under the new orders, several Deputy Commissioners and departmental heads across districts have been changed as part of the overhaul.
Senior IAS officer Amit Kumar Agarwal, currently serving as Commissioner and Secretary of Industries and Commerce, has been given additional charge as Member Secretary of the Kurukshetra Development Board.
Geeta Bharti has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Hisar Division, while Ravi Prakash Gupta will serve as Secretary of the Urban Estates Department and Commissioner of Gurugram Division.
Among other key postings, Narhari Singh Bangar has been appointed Managing Director of CONFED, and Satinder Duhan has been named Director of Skill Development and Industrial Training.
In additional assignments, Satbir Singh will serve as Director of Fire Services and CEO of Ayushman Bharat in the state. Vandana Disodiya has been appointed Additional Secretary (Home) and Managing Director of the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation. Shashwat Sangwan will take charge as Director, Urban Local Bodies and Mission Director of the State Urban Livelihood Mission.
At the district level, several Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) have been appointed, including Lakshit Sertain (Hansi), Ankit Kumar Chauksey (Panipat), Arpit Sangal (Sirsa), Jyoti (Nuh), Utsav Anand (Hisar), and Dr Rahul Rai (Karnal).
Multiple changes have also been made at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) level. Kanika Goel has been posted as SDM Ambala Cantt, Yogesh Saini as SDM Mahendragarh, Ravi Meena as SDM Jhajjar, and Ankita Pawar as SDM Sampla. Abhinav Sivach has been given additional charge as District Municipal Commissioner, Jhajjar.
The reshuffle is aimed at administrative efficiency and better governance across the state, officials said.
