New Delhi: In a major political development ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, senior Aam Aadmi Party leaders Raghav Chadha, Ashok Mittal and Sandeep Pathak have reportedly resigned from the party and decided to join the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The move is being seen as a significant shift in Punjab’s political landscape, as both leaders played key roles in AAP’s strategy and organizational planning.
Their exit is likely to deal a major blow to AAP, while strengthening BJP’s position in the state ahead of the upcoming elections.
However, official confirmations and detailed statements from the leaders and parties are awaited.
