New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is set to hold an important meeting of its Political Affairs Committee in New Delhi on Wednesday, with party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal expected to chair the deliberations.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is also scheduled to participate in the meeting, which is likely to focus extensively on the party’s preparations for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections.

According to party sources, senior leaders will review the political situation in the state and discuss the party’s electoral strategy, including the process of candidate selection. Constituency-wise assessments are expected to form a major part of the discussions.

Sources indicated that the meeting will continue for two days and may include detailed deliberations on constituencies where the party is considering organisational changes or a possible change of candidates.

The leadership is also expected to evaluate ground-level feedback and review the party’s performance and prospects across different regions of Punjab as part of its long-term election planning.

Before attending the Political Affairs Committee meeting, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is expected to participate in a NITI Aayog meeting in New Delhi. He is scheduled to join the party’s internal discussions later in the evening.

The meeting is being seen as a significant step in AAP’s efforts to fine-tune its strategy as political parties begin positioning themselves ahead of the next Assembly elections in Punjab.
