Jalandhar News (June 07, 2026): A video of a Traffic Police official has gone viral on social media. Taking immediate notice of the issue, S. Harvinder Singh Virk, PPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural, ordered prompt action.
The concerned Traffic Police official was suspended and transferred to Police Lines with immediate effect. A departmental enquiry has also been initiated and entrusted to Sh. Lakhwinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Detective), Jalandhar Rural.
All facts and circumstances related to the viral video will be thoroughly examined during the enquiry. Further departmental action shall be taken on the basis of the enquiry findings.
