More than 67000 drug peddlers in Punjab have been apprehended to eradicate drug menace among the society: Kultar Singh Sandhwan

Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan shared this information today while affirming a zero-tolerance policy against narcotics. He asserted that individuals involved in the supply of illegal substances will face strict legal action.
The Speaker emphasized that societal contribution is paramount to completely root out the menace of addiction. He appealed to the public to act as responsible citizens and share information regarding drug peddling with the police.Citizens must report any suspicious drug-related activities to law enforcement immediately. The police department will handle informant details with strict confidentiality. Eradicating addiction requires active participation between the government and the community.
