Bike taxis will now be legally run in Delhi, notification to be issued by this evening

New Delhi: Bike taxis will now be able to run legally in Delhi. Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot has said that the notification of the policy will be issued by this evening. For the first time in Delhi, the Motor Vehicle Aggregator and Delivery Service Provider Scheme will be notified.  
       Under this scheme, bike taxis will also be able to run legally in Delhi.
      The Transport Minister of Delhi said that by the year 2030, all vehicles will be electric. Taxi aggregators like Ola, Uber as well as delivery service operators like Swiggy, Zomato will also come under this scheme. 
     Service providers like e-commerce like Amazon, Flipkart will also be added. This policy will be applicable to a fleet of more than 25. For this, the aggregator will have to get a license within 90 days. This license will be given for 5 years. The Delhi minister said that there will be no fee on electric vehicles.
