Professor arrested for molesting woman doctor on Delhi-Mumbai flight
New Delhi: A professor has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman doctor on board a Delhi-Mumbai flight. The incident took place on Wednesday. The 24-year-old victim’s seat was next to the accused’s seat on the flight that took off from Delhi at 5.30 am, the police official said. The woman doctor has said in her complaint that the accused touched her inappropriately shortly before the flight landed at the Mumbai airport.
An argument broke out between the two and the victim informed the flight crew. The victim got off the plane and reached the police station. On the complaint of the victim, a case of sexual harassment has been registered against the professor and he has been arrested. The accused was produced before a court which granted him bail.
