Raghav Chadha changed his Twitter bio after being suspended from Rajya Sabha writes- Suspended MP
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha has been suspended from the Rajya Sabha yesterday. AAP MP Raghav Chadha was on Friday suspended from the Rajya Sabha for “gross violation of rules, misconduct, derogatory behaviour and contempt conduct” pending the report of the Privileges Committee.
After his parliamentary membership was suspended, Raghav Chadha has changed his Twitter bio.
Earlier on his Twitter handle, Raghav Chadha had written MP in the bio, which has now been changed to Suspended MP.
Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar had announced the suspension of Raghav Chadha. Chadha’s suspension came after a resolution moved by Leader of the House Piyush Goyal sought action against the AAP leader for including the names of four members of the Upper House in the proposed selection committee for the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023.
Raghav Chadha had on Thursday rejected the allegations and said the ruling party targeted him as it could not accept that a 34-year-old MP attacked their tallest leaders.
