Former Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal and six others booked, two arrested in plot purchase case
Punjab News: The Vigilance Bureau has registered a case against six people, including former Punjab Finance Minister and BJP leader Manpreet Badal. On Sunday, the vigilance team arrested Rajiv Kumar and Amandeep.
However, no vigilance official has confirmed anything in this matter. But according to sources, senior vigilance officials can make a big disclosure on Monday.
The accused have been identified as Manpreet Badal, Vikas Kumar, Pankaj, Shergill, Rajiv Kumar and Amandeep.
BJP leader Sarup Chand Singla had filed a complaint with the Vigilance and Lokpal against Manpreet Badal for buying expensive plots in Model Town at a lower price.
Vigilance is investigating on this complaint.
