Punjab E News (PEN News): The Punjab Government has assigned an additional responsibility to senior IPS officer Harmanbir Singh (IPS: 2010 batch). As per the latest transfer and posting orders, Harmanbir Singh will continue to serve as DIG, Border Range, Amritsar, while also taking over the additional charge of Commissioner of Police (CP), Amritsar.
He has been entrusted with the charge of Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, replacing Gurpreet Singh Bhullar (IPS: 2004 batch).
