AAP to observe hunger strike in Khatkad Kalan on April 7, volunteering meeting in Moga and Jalandhar on April 6

Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is planning to conduct a nationwide fast or hunger strike on April 7 to protest the arrest of national convener Arvind Kejriwal.

As part of this initiative, AAP has devised a strategy to organize a mass hunger strike in Khatkad Kalan, the village of Shaheed Azam Bhagat, which will be led by CM Bhagwant Mann.

Additionally, programs will be arranged at the district and tehsil levels on behalf of the party. Simultaneously, to ensure success in the Lok Sabha elections, the CM has prepared to assist both leaders and volunteers, commencing this Saturday.

Moreover, this month, the CM plans to visit several states, including the neighboring state of Haryana. AAP considers its strength to be that of volunteers. In such a situation, the CM is trying to connect with the leaders as well as the volunteers.

 

On April 6, volunteers meeting to be held in Moga at 12 noon and in Jalandhar at 3 pm. Volunteers belonging to Malwa will be included in Moga, while a meeting of leaders of Doaba region has been scheduled in Jalandhar. It will include village level leaders.

CM himself will participate in these programs. Party’s National General Secretary (Organisation) Dr. Sandeep Pathak is also on a visit to Punjab.
