Another farmer dies at Shambhu border

Chandigarh: The series of deaths of protesting farmers under Kisan Andolan-2 continues unabated, during which today another farmer has dedicated his life to this struggle. In this way, 12 farmers, including Shubhkaran Singh, have died even before the completion of one and a half months of this movement.

The farmer, Sher Singh (70), a resident of Sidhuwal village in Bakshiwala police station adjoining Patiala. According to the information, he was at Shambhu border for several days. But on March 25, he suddenly developed a fever, including a sudden rise in his sugar level. Due to which he was immediately taken to civil hospital Rajpura.

However, seeing that the condition was not improving, the doctors there referred Sher Singh to the Government Rajindra Hospital Patiala. Doctors here treated him for several hours, but finally today this elderly farmer died during treatment.
