Govt converted PAU into police cantonment: Partap Bajwa slams Punjab government
Punjab News: A day ahead of a debate called by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on the issue of Punjab’s river waters, Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Partap Singh Bajwa has expressed doubts over the fair conduct of the debate on November 1.
He said the Chief Minister had now converted the Punjab Agricultural University, the venue of the debate, into a police cantonment.
He said the Punjab government has issued passes to those who are only close to the AAP. Why were passes not issued to common people and those close to other political parties? He said there should have been a retired judge to perform the services of moderator for the debate.
