A liquor trader from Himachal Pradesh, Sher Singh (37), met a tragic end in Khanna town, Punjab. The incident occurred when his car collided with a tree, subsequently catching fire. Given the late hour, with minimal traffic, the fire went unnoticed for a while.
A passerby eventually spotted the blazing car and promptly alerted the fire brigade. Despite the swift response from Khanna and Doraha fire brigade teams, Sher Singh had already succumbed to the incident by the time they arrived.
