Chandigarh: Radheshyam alias Paramguru, the main accused in the ₹3,000 crore Future Maker scam spanning nine states including Haryana, has triggered fresh controversy by targeting the guru of renowned Vrindavan saint Premanand Maharaj.
In a video posted on his social media account, Paramguru commented on Goswami Shrihit Mohit Maral Maharaj — the spiritual guide of Premanand Maharaj — calling him a “hypocrite” and saying, “Look at their hypocrisy. That’s why I say avoid hypocrisy.”
In another post, Paramguru criticised idol worship, alleging that saints preach against it, yet temples worth ₹2 crore were being built. “People like you could not understand the true knowledge of saints,” he added.
Premanand Maharaj, who suffers from a chronic kidney ailment, is among Vrindavan’s most respected saints. Despite his illness, he continues to deliver spiritual discourses, attracting a massive following across India. High-profile personalities including former India cricket captain Virat Kohli, actress Anushka Sharma, MPs Ravi Kishan and Anurag Thakur are known to have visited him.
Premanand Maharaj runs the Shrihit Radha Kelly Kunj Trust and is associated with the Radhavallabh sect. His sermons draw millions of followers nationwide.
