Ludhiana: Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda, who died on Wednesday after being critically injured in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh on September 27, was cremated in his native village Pona in Ludhiana’s Jagraon on Saturday. He had been on life support at Fortis Hospital in Mohali due to his critical condition.
The atmosphere was mournful as family, friends, and fans gathered to pay their final respects. Several renowned singers and artists were present, along with a large number of political and social leaders. Earlier in the day, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited the late singer’s residence to offer condolences to the family.
