New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the BJP-led NDA government is committed to empowering the youth and shaping India’s foreign policy in line with their interests.
In a recorded message at the 17th Rozgar Mela, PM Modi said that India, being the youngest country in the world, draws its strength from its youth. “With faith and confidence, we are moving forward in every field. Our foreign policy is also being made keeping in mind the interests of India’s youth. In our diplomatic negotiations and global agreements, there is a greater focus on training and employment generation of youth,” he said.
During the event, appointment letters for over 51,000 government jobs were distributed. PM Modi added that more than 11 lakh appointment letters have been issued so far through Rozgar Melas across the country.
He further said that the recent reduction in GST rates has brought about a major reform in the country, with benefits extending beyond increased savings for citizens.
