Kashmir: The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Sunday raided the residence of a woman doctor in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a ‘white collar terror module’. Officials said the raid was carried out around midnight in the Malkanag area, where the doctor from Haryana was living as a tenant. A mobile phone was seized for forensic examination.
Meanwhile, police detained a dry fruit trader, Bilal Ahmad Wani, and his son, Jasir Bilal, for questioning in the same case. Officials said Bilal attempted to set himself on fire in the Qazikund area. He was taken to GMC for treatment and his condition is stable. His son remains in CIK custody.
