This revamped intersection will enhance overall look of this busiest locality
Jalandhar News: Punjab Horticulture and Defence Services Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat, Mayor Vineet Dhir, Commissioner Jalandhar Municipal Corporation Sandeep Rishi today dedicated the newly renovated Model House Chowk to the public. Accompanied by Senior AAP leader Nitin Kohli, Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, the Minister said that the Punjab Government has launched a unique initiative to refurbish major chowks and intersections across the city. As part of this drive, several roundabouts have already been transformed with modern designs and enhanced aesthetic features. He also lauded the contribution of private organizations/companies for joining hands with local authorities in maintaining these chowk so that they remain intact during the coming days.
Cabinet Minister Mohinder Bhagat appreciated the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation for leading the renovation campaign and said that its proactive role by roping in private organizations in this mammoth exercise. He instructed officials to coordinate with these firms and assist them in maintaining these chowks. He further added that residents further witness large-scale improvements at several more intersections, giving Jalandhar a fresh, vibrant, and modern view.
