Amit Kumar Panchal appealed to all caste people to participate in 2nd Pro Run and National Marathon
Phagwara (Kapurthala News): Deputy Commissioner Amit kumar Panchal on Wednesday released the poster of the 2nd Pro Run to be held on February 22nd at Lovely Professional University (LPU) Phagwara (Kapurthala) The event will inaugurate the Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh National Marathon which is scheduled to take place in Mahalpur on March 22.
The 5km pro run will start from LPU campus at 6:00 am. Both the Pro Run and the Main Marathon are being organized as a tribute to the great sacrifice of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and as a strong collective effort to make a drug-free Punjab. Deputy Commissioner said that Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh National Marathon is more than a sporting event. This is a powerful movement that unites patriotism, physical fitness, and the courageous fight against drugs. Emphasizing that through sports and broader community participation, the initiative seeks to honour the ideals and sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters while boldly confronting one of the most grave challenges facing Punjab today.
Amit Kumar Panchal appealed to citizens of all age groups, students, families, youth, employees and senior citizens to come forward in large numbers. Urging all of them to join the second pro run at LPU on February 22nd and Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh National Marathon in Mahalpur on March 22 This will strengthen the mass movement for drug-free Punjab.
