Surrey: A 42-year-old Punjabi-origin man living in Surrey, Canada, died in a road accident in Peru while travelling around the world on his motorcycle.

The deceased, identified as Raghbir Singh Bharowal, had embarked on a solo global journey titled “Flying Khalsa World Tour” on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Bharowal worked as an immigration consultant in Canada and was the father of three children.

According to family members, his dream was to travel across 31 countries. He had started the journey nearly three months ago and was documenting his experiences through social media.

Last video shared days before accident

Bharowal had posted his last video from Peru just three days before the accident. When the family could not contact him afterwards, they sought help from local authorities to locate him.

On Tuesday, the family was informed that he had died in a road accident in Peru. The news has left relatives and friends in both Canada and Punjab in deep shock.

Family recalls his passion for travel

His father, Pritam Singh Bharowal, who is currently in Ludhiana attending a family wedding, said his son had a strong passion for travel and adventure.

He said Raghbir Singh wanted to inspire others through his journey. The plan was to complete part of the tour, return to Canada and later begin the next phase of the trip.

However, the journey ended tragically with the accident in Peru.
