On the first day of Chaitra Navratri, Manish Sisodia seeks blessings at Mata Shri Kali Devi Temple along with Health Minister

Sisodia and Health Minister review temple renovation works, appreciate Punjab Government’s efforts

Patiala News (March 19): On the auspicious occasion of the first day of Chaitra Navratri, Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab Affairs Incharge Manish Sisodia paid obeisance at the Mata Shri Kali Devi Temple in Patiala along with his family. He was accompanied by the State Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh. On this occasion, he extended warm greetings of Navratri to all devotees and prayed for prosperity, peace, and progress for the nation.

Manish Sisodia said he feels fortunate to have received the opportunity to visit this ancient and religiously significant temple on the first day of Navratri. He also performed a havan at the temple and said that visiting this sacred place gave him spiritual peace and renewed energy.

Praying for the prosperity of the country and welfare of its people, he said that as long as the blessings of the Goddess remain with us, no force can harm the nation. He also gave a message of unity and brotherhood among people.

During the visit, he, along with Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, Mayor Kundan Gogia, and Deputy Commissioner Varjeet Walia, reviewed the ongoing renovation work at the temple. He said the temple holds great significance across the country and is a major center of faith for devotees. He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, development works are underway and will be completed by the next Navratri.

Sisodia emphasized that there is no place for ego in the construction or service of any religious place. He stated that no one should take pride in claiming that a temple was built because of them. In Sanatan Dharma, humility and service hold the highest value.

He also said that if he gets an opportunity in the future to contribute to the construction or service of any other temple, he will do so with full devotion.

On this occasion, Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, Mayor Kundan Gogia, Chairman Improvement Trust Harpal Singh Virk, District Planning Committee Chairman Tejinder Mehta, Temple Advisory Managing Committee members CA Ajay Alipuria, Sanjay Singla, Dr. Raj Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Varjeet Walia, Additional Deputy Commissioner Simerpreet Kaur, and other dignitaries were present.

A large number of devotees were also present on this religious and spiritual occasion and received the blessings of the Goddess.
