Sidhu Moosewala’s ‘Eyes On Me’ breaks records within hours of release

Chandigarh: Sidhu Moosewala’s legacy continues to dominate global charts as his 13th posthumous track Eyes On Me was released on Monday night, drawing massive response within hours.

Massive response within an hour

The song crossed over 1.1 million views on YouTube within the first hour, while nearly 200,000 fans flooded the comments section. The teaser, released three days earlier, had already generated millions of views and over 1.4 million likes on Instagram.

The YouTube premiere itself saw around 160,000 concurrent viewers, with the track trending online within minutes of release.

Follows record-breaking ‘Brodha’ success

The release comes five months after Moosewala’s hit track Brodha, which had crossed 10 million comments on YouTube, becoming one of the most commented videos globally.

High-intensity visuals and themes

The nearly three-minute video features dramatic visuals, including masked gunmen, a moving G-Wagon in rain, and intense action sequences. Themes of fear, violence and betrayal dominate the lyrics, with references to threats and a tense environment.

The video ends on an emotional note, showing Moosewala leaving his home for a final ride, with his father Balkaur Singh seen bidding him farewell.

Brand launch and world tour plans

The team also announced an upcoming clothing brand linked to Moosewala’s legacy. Additionally, preparations are underway for the Signed to God World Tour, which will use hologram (3D projection) technology to recreate his stage presence across multiple countries, including India, Canada, the UK and the US.

Moosewala, a native of Mansa district in Punjab, was shot dead on May 29, 2022, but continues to command a massive global fanbase through posthumous releases.
