London: England registered a dominant 125-run victory over India in the third T20 International at Nottingham, bowling the visitors out for just 76 while defending a target of 202.
Chasing 202, India’s batting line-up collapsed under pressure, with no batter managing to play a substantial innings. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 13 runs off five balls, while Ishan Kishan made 13. Abhishek Sharma and Axar Patel contributed 10 runs each before India were dismissed for 76.
Earlier, after India won the toss and opted to bowl first, England posted 201/7 in their 20 overs.
Opener Phil Salt led the charge with a superb 70 off 44 balls, smashing seven fours and three sixes. Captain Jos Buttler added 36 runs, while Sam Curran remained unbeaten on 41 to help England cross the 200-run mark.
For India, Prince Yadav was the most successful bowler with 2/30, while Harshit Rana claimed 2/40.
With the emphatic win, England now lead the five-match T20 series 2-0, after the opening match was washed out due to rain.
