The appreciation certificates, issued by the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, were presented to Ms. Meenu, BLO of Booth No. 116 under Assembly Constituency 034-Jalandhar West, and Mr. Ganesh Kumar, BLO of Booth No. 121 under Assembly Constituency 037-Jalandhar Cantt, for their exemplary performance in ensuring complete enumeration of voters in their respective polling booths and achieving full digitisation through the BLO App.

Congratulating both the officers, the DC said that their dedication and commitment would serve as a source of inspiration for other BLOs engaged in the massive electoral exercise. He appreciated their efforts in successfully reaching out to every voter and completing the process in a time-bound manner.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that, as per the schedule issued by the Election Commission of India, BLOs are conducting a door-to-door survey and collecting enumeration forms from voters between June 15 and July 24, 2026.

Appealing to the residents of the district, Mr. Walia urged all eligible voters to cooperate with BLOs and submit their duly filled enumeration forms along with the requisite documents at the earliest. He emphasized that the objective of the Special Intensive Revision is to ensure an accurate and error-free electoral roll and to make certain that no eligible voter is left out of the democratic process.
