Washington: Elon Musk criticised US President Donald Trump’s sweeping tax and spending cut bill, warning that it would lead to job losses and harm emerging industries.
“The new draft Senate bill will wipe out millions of jobs in the United States and cause great strategic damage to our country,” Musk wrote on X.
His remarks came as the Senate prepared to vote for an open debate on the nearly 1,000-page bill.
Musk said the bill would not only benefit old industries but also cause serious damage to new and emerging sectors.
