Chandigarh: Actor Enamul Haque has denied having any personal relationship with murdered tennis player Radhika Yadav, saying people are tarnishing his image by linking him to the case.
In a 53-minute live session on social media, Haque swore by his mother while clarifying his stand, marking his third public statement since the murder.
Haque had appeared before the media four days ago after questions were raised about his alleged relationship with Radhika. Despite clarifying his position twice, social media users continued to question him, prompting him to go live again.
“I have given interviews to many news channels, but still people are asking questions. So I decided to go live on social media,” Haque said. He added that people were trying to add a Hindu-Muslim angle to the murder case, which was tarnishing the image of an innocent person.
Gurugram Police have not included Haque in their investigation so far.
