Bikram Majithia’s judicial custody extended by 14 days

Mohali: A Mohali court on Thursday extended by 14 days the judicial custody of former Akali minister Bikram Singh Majithia, who is lodged in Nabha’s New Jail on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. His next appearance has been fixed for August 28.

Majithia was not produced before the court in person and instead appeared through video conferencing from the jail.
