Chandigarh: The Punjab government on Wednesday carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 23 IAS and 8 PCS officers.
As part of the changes, the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of three districts have also been replaced.
According to the orders, Rajesh Dhiman has been appointed as the new DC of Bathinda, Rahul Chhawa as DC of Sangrur, and Navjot Corps as DC of Mansa.
Officials said the reshuffle has been aimed at ensuring smoother administrative functioning and expediting development work in the districts.
