MOHALI: The body of Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda was moved from Fortis Hospital, Mohali, to his home in Sector-71, Mohali, on Wednesday. It will be taken to Panchkula for postmortem before being transported to his ancestral village, Pauna in Jagraon, Ludhiana.
The 34-year-old singer had been admitted to Fortis Hospital on September 27 in critical condition following a road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, in which he sustained severe spinal and head injuries. Despite continuous medical care, he succumbed to multiple organ failure on October 8.
The singer’s funeral is scheduled to be held tomorrow at 11 am. Fans and family members are expected to gather to pay their last respects to the popular artist, known for hit songs such as Tu Dis Penda, Khush Raha Kar, Sardari, and Kangani.
