Amritsar: Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday paid obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar along with their families.
Speaking to reporters outside the information centre after offering prayers, Kejriwal said they had come to the shrine to thank the Almighty and seek blessings of the Guru.
Kejriwal said he had been implicated in a false case, but the court granted him justice and acquitted him. He added that he visited the Golden Temple to express gratitude for the outcome.
The AAP leader also said the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has fulfilled its election promises and has planned several programmes to make the state more prosperous in the coming years.
