MLA Amargarh and District Planning Board Chairman Congratulate Newly Elected Office Bearers
Malerkotla News (May 15): Raghbir Singh Chounda has been elected as the Chairman of Zila Parishad Malerkotla, while Kuldeep Kaur has been chosen as the Vice-Chairperson during the election held for the top posts of the district body. The announcement was welcomed with celebrations in the area as supporters congratulated the newly elected leaders.
On the occasion, Amargarh MLA Professor Jaswant Singh Gajjan Majra and the Chairman of the District Planning Board congratulated the newly elected office bearers and expressed confidence in their leadership.
They stated that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government remains committed to the overall development of rural and urban areas. They added that continuous efforts are being made to provide basic amenities to the people and ensure transparent governance across the state.
MLA Amargarh said that the Zila Parishad plays a crucial role in implementing development schemes at the grassroots level and expressed hope that the newly elected Chairman and Vice-Chairperson would fulfill public expectations with honesty, dedication, and sincerity.
He further said that the Punjab Government is committed to the comprehensive development of villages and that the role of the Zila Parishad is highly significant in achieving this goal.
Newly elected Chairman Raghbir Singh Chounda thanked the members of the Zila Parishad and assured that he would work collectively with all members in a transparent manner. He said priority would be given to rural development, expansion of basic facilities, and resolving public issues effectively.
