New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals defeated Lucknow Super Giants by seven wickets in an Indian Premier League 2026 match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Tuesday.
Batting first after losing the toss, Lucknow Super Giants posted a massive total of 220 for 5 in 20 overs, led by a brilliant 96-run knock from Mitchell Marsh.
In reply, Rajasthan Royals chased down the 221-run target in just 19.1 overs with three wickets in hand. Young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi starred in the run chase with a blistering 93 off 38 balls, putting Rajasthan in complete control of the contest.
The victory strengthened Rajasthan Royals’ position in the tournament, while Lucknow’s bowling attack failed to defend the imposing total.
