Jannik Sinner crushes Novak Djokovic to reach Wimbledon final, ends bid for record 25th Grand Slam

Wimbledon: Defending champion Jannik Sinner delivered a dominant performance to defeat Novak Djokovic in straight sets and book his place in the Wimbledon men’s singles final, ending the Serbian star’s quest for a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title.

The world No. 1 outclassed the 39-year-old 6-4, 6-4, 6-4, producing a clinical display of power and precision on Centre Court to secure another appearance in the Wimbledon final.

Just as he did at the same stage last year, Sinner denied Djokovic the chance to equal Roger Federer’s record of eight Wimbledon men’s singles titles.

Sinner remained in complete control throughout the match and did not face a single break point until the middle of the third set. When Djokovic finally created his only opportunity, the Italian responded with a powerful ace before comfortably closing out the contest.

With the victory, Sinner advances to the Wimbledon final, where he will face Alexander Zverev in a battle for the championship. Djokovic, meanwhile, sees his latest attempt to claim a historic 25th Grand Slam singles title come to an end.
