Chandigarh: Fans of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala were left emotional and excited as his team released the teaser of his new song ‘Eyes On Me’ on social media.
The 34-second teaser quickly went viral, garnering over 15,000 likes on Instagram and more than 1.2 lakh views on YouTube within minutes of its release.
Action-packed teaser with dark undertones
The teaser opens with a masked man pointing a gun at Mansa district on the map of Punjab, followed by visuals of Moosewala driving a jeep and firing an AK-style rifle. A brief line in the background hints at themes linked to violence and possible conspiracies, leading many to believe the track may revolve around events tied to his life and death.
Global tour with hologram technology
Since his death, 12 of Moosewala’s songs have been released posthumously, receiving massive global response. His previous track ‘Brota’ became one of the most commented videos worldwide.
Now, his team is preparing for a world tour titled ‘Signed to God’, where hologram (3D projection) technology will recreate his on-stage presence. The tour is expected to span multiple countries including India, Pakistan, the US, Canada, the UK, UAE, Australia and New Zealand.
Legacy lives on
Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Mansa district. Despite his absence, his music continues to dominate charts and resonate deeply with fans across the globe.
