Nitin Kohli holds meeting with councillors to fast-track development in Jalandhar wards

Jalandhar News: Nitin Kohli, in charge of the Jalandhar Central constituency, held a meeting with block presidents, councillors, and ward in-charges to accelerate development projects and set clear timelines for their completion.

The meeting also aimed to gather information about the challenges being faced in ongoing development works across various wards. To address these effectively, a solid action plan has been prepared at the ward level under Kohli’s leadership.
Speaking on the occasion, Kohli said that the meeting was organised to ensure that residents do not face any difficulties in their respective wards.

“A clear action plan has been formulated at the ward level, and duties have been assigned to each representative to review their areas and expedite development works,” he said, adding that some on-ground issues were also resolved during the meeting.

Kohli said that since being appointed as constituency in-charge by the party high command, his primary objective has been to prioritise development works in the area.

He added that his team has been regularly holding meetings with local office-bearers and residents to ensure that development projects face no hurdles. “If there are ongoing projects, the aim is to complete them before the scheduled time,” he said.

The meeting was attended by ward presidents Ashok Sabharwal, Manjeet Rawat, Jatin Gulati, Rajeev Gill, Manish Sharma, and Harsh Kumar. Councillors present included Navdeep Kaur (Ward 5), Trilok Saran (Ward 6), Parveen Pehalwan (Ward 7), Amardeep Sandal Keenu (Ward 8), Vicky Tulsi (Ward 9), Balbir Singh Dhillon (Ward 10), Karamjit Kaur (Ward 11), Balbir Singh Tut (Ward 12), Harleen Kaur (Ward 19), Manmohan Raju (Ward 20), Pinderjit Kaur (Ward 21), Love Robin (Ward 22), Ganga Devi (Ward 23), Kartik Sahota (Ward 25), Deepak Kumar (Ward 27), Sonu Chadha (Ward 28), Naresh Sharma (Ward 29), Ajay Chopra (Ward 30), Ravinder Bansal (Ward 64), Parveen Vasan (Ward 65), Nikhil Arora (Ward 66), Gurpreet Kaur (Ward 67), Jatin Gulati (Ward 70), and Jagdish Raja.
