Chandigarh: Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh has reportedly received death threats through calls and WhatsApp messages from an international number. According to sources, the messages also targeted his family members.
Aulakh has lodged a formal complaint with the police. However, officials have so far refrained from commenting on the matter.
The threatening message, written in Punjabi, warned the singer that his “your time has come” and mentioned his wife and child. It further stated, “Don’t think this is just a bogus threat. Let’s see what happens to you now.”
