Extend Full Support to AAP Candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu
Tarn Taran Election: In a major boost to the Aam Aadmi Party’s campaign for the Tarn Taran by-election, dozens of families from the Congress today joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and announced their full support for AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu, assuring him of a resounding victory with a big margin.
The new members were formally welcomed into the party by Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, who is also the AAP In-charge for the Tarn Taran by-election, AAP Punjab Working President Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi, and State General Secretary Dr S S Ahluwalia.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar said that the Bhagwant Mann government’s unprecedented work for the people of Punjab has inspired families across the state to join AAP. “In just three and a half years, our government has revolutionized Punjab’s education and healthcare systems, provided monthly 300 units of free electricity to every household, ensured canal water to farmlands, delivered daytime electricity to farmers, and given thousands of government jobs to youth. These pro-people decisions are why more and more families are choosing to stand with AAP every day,” Bhullar said.
AAP Working President Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi extended a warm welcome to all the new members and assured them that everyone joining the Aam Aadmi Party will receive respect, recognition, and an opportunity to contribute actively to the party’s mission of people-centric governance. He also thanked AAP leader Seema for her efforts in encouraging these families to join the party and strengthen AAP’s cadre in Tarn Taran.
Dr S S Ahluwalia, AAP Punjab’s State General Secretary, also welcomed the new members and lauded the Mann government for organizing the historic 350th Martyrdom Commemoration of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji with deep reverence and devotion, setting an example of Punjab’s rich spiritual and cultural legacy.
Prominent among those who joined AAP include Kulwinder Singh, Bikkar Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Gursharan Singh, Karaj Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Davinder Singh, Daljit Singh, Lovepreet Singh, Harjit Singh, Baljit Singh, Varinder Singh, Gurdit Singh, Jaswant Singh, and Harjinder Singh.
