Jalandhar: A jeweller’s shop in Jalandhar’s Bhargava Camp area was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday afternoon. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing three masked robbers entering Vijay Jeweller’s shop with pistols and sharp weapons.
As soon as they entered, the robbers pointed a pistol at the jeweller and demanded cash and gold ornaments. Within minutes, they fled with the loot. Vijay, the shop owner, claimed that the robbers took away jewellery and cash after threatening him with a pistol.
The incident was captured on the CCTV camera installed in the shop. Following the robbery, a team from Bhargava Camp police station reached the spot and began investigating the matter. Police officials said they are examining CCTV footage to identify the accused.
During the incident, the shop owner’s son panicked and raised an alarm, after which one of the robbers attacked the counter with a sharp weapon before escaping.
